SPRING Tango Meeting - Sanremo (Im) - Italy 9th 10th 11th May 2025.
Offering a packed programme for an entire weekend of Tango with Teachers and dancers edwin Espinosa and Alexa Yepes Arboleda, who will be making just One stop Off In Italy on their European Tour. and a very special guest, Mariana Montes, visiting the Western Ligurian Riviera for the very first time
Workshops and milongas with two fantastic Tango Dj's., Show. an Event Not To BE MISSED!!
PROGRAMME
Friday 9th May
7.30pm. Welcome and registration 8pm./9pm. pre-milonga Class with Edwin and Alexa: rhythmical sequences playing with the music.
9.30pm./1.30am. Welcome Milonga. Resident tdj Raffaele Prota who will be providing a selection of traditional rioplatense with tandas y cortinas.
Saturday 10th May. 10.30am./11.45pm class with Mariana – Opentechnique. linear projection, dissociation, and fluidity of movement.
12.00am/1.15pm Class with Edwin and Alexa - Tango Salon (int/adv.): ganchos to use in milonga with closed embrace.
Lunch break (a small buffet offered to class participants)
3.30pm./4.45pm. Class with Mariana-tango Salon: basic elements in social dance.
5pm./6.15pm. Class with Mariana- Tango Salon: closed and open hold, the benefits and use of each.
Free time for Dinner
9.30pm./2.30am. Gala milonga and Performance by all Artists: Mariana Montes, Edwin espinosa and Alexa Yepes Arboleda. plus an amazing tdj of international fame arriving direct from Buenos Aires: Dani villarino, musicalizado del festival y Mondial de Buenos Aires, and of other festivals and Tango Marathons Worldwide.
Sunday 11th May
2pm./3.15pm. Class with Edwin and Alexa- Tango Salon (Int./adv.): playing with and creating circular sacadas.
3.30pm/4.45pm. Class with Edwin and Alexa- Vals (Int./adv.): cadenza and cadenas.
From 5pm. Fiesta DE DESPEDIDA
The entire weekend will take place in the ground floor room of Villa Ormond, reached by foot via the beautiful park leading from Corso. F. Cavallotti
